5 pound production block of Shiitake Mushroom, Lentinus edodes strain #615. These blocks are for production and are fully colonized, aged 2 or more months, and ready to produce Shiitake mushrooms. Approximate yield is 1 to 1-1/2 pounds of shiitake mushrooms on the 1st flush, with smaller yields on subsequent flushes. Our blocks are made for the experienced grower, we do not supply growing directions, only growing parameters.
Growing parameters: Cold shock block 1 to 2 days in bag at 34 to 50 degrees (pin set), then remove bag and place block on rack upside down in growing room, temperature set at 68 degrees, humidity 80%, co2 800 ppm or lower, 12 hours of light per day. 1st harvest 8 to 10 days after cold shock.
